"I'm going on a bear hunt"

Children participated in a sensory exploration inspired by We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. They experienced different textures representing scenes from the story, such as grass, mud, water, and other natural elements. This interactive activity encouraged language development, sensory awareness, imagination, and active participation as children retold the story through hands-on exploration.

Soapy Sea Foam Sensory

Children explored soft, colorful soapy sea foam through a sensory play experience. They used their hands and a variety of tools to scoop, mix, and create while strengthening fine motor skills and engaging their senses. This open-ended activity promoted creativity, sensory exploration, problem-solving, and language development as children described the textures, colors, and movements of the foam.

Magic Water 

During this lesson, children explored a fun science experiment using turmeric water and a flashlight. They observed how the color of the water changed when different substances were added and used the flashlight to closely examine the changes. This hands-on activity encouraged curiosity, prediction, observation, and discussion while introducing basic scientific concepts in an engaging and exciting way.

Rainbow Fish

Children listened to the story Rainbow Fish and discussed the importance of kindness, friendship, and sharing with others. After reading, they participated in activities that reinforced these social-emotional skills by talking about ways they can share and help their friends. The lesson encouraged empathy, cooperation, and understanding that sharing can make everyone feel included and valued.

Angry Bird Game

In this engaging STEM lesson, students participated in an activity inspired by Angry Birds. One team worked collaboratively to design and build structures using stacked boxes, placing milk jugs on top to represent the “pigs.” The opposing team then took turns throwing soft balls at the structures, aiming to knock down the milk jugs and collapse the “houses.” After each round, students observed the results and discussed how the design and stability of the structures affected their ability to withstand impact. This hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and an understanding of basic engineering concepts such as balance, force, and structural stability.
